Glenaeon is located on two campuses each with its own character, situated close to each other and to the city of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, amidst and adjacent to the bushland which adorns the harbour and its tributaries.
Kindergarten and classes one to three are catered for in the village atmosphere of Castlecrag, with inviting classrooms surrounding a grassy playground. Beautiful gardens enhance the work and play of our youngest students.
The Upper Primary and High Schools are located in four and a half hectares of bushland at Middle Cove with classrooms being separated by natural watercourses. Quiet play and discussion areas have been set aside from the larger playing fields, thus catering for a variety of childrens needs. As a wide range of ages is together on the same grounds, the students can have the benefit of their own special areas and yet have easy contact with each other.
The school motto is "Education for Life".
"The need for imagination, a sense of truth, and a feeling of responsibility.
These are the three forces which are the very nerve of education."
Rudolf Steiner
