We are a Steiner group working with families and children on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Our aims are, in the light of Anthroposophy:
To develop early childhood services on the Mornington Peninsula;
To develop educational and social activities which enhance family life;
Pre-School Roster Programme:
The programmes for kindergarten aged children (3-5 yrs) offer interactive indoor and outdoor play activities, morning tea, art and craft activities, story time and singing. Children are encouraged to develop a reverence for nature and natural play materials are used to develop imagination and interactive social play.
3 morning sessions per week for 4–5 year olds on Monday, Wednesday and Friday
1 morning session per week for 3 year olds, on Monday, Wednesday or Friday
Location: Term 1 Pt Leo, then at our Red Hill Centre.
We have spaces available now in these groups.
Parent and Child Programme
The Parent and Child groups for 18 month – 3 year olds follow a similar format in a shorter session with the parents present. Topics are presented for parental enrichment and reflection.
One session per week on Tuesday or Thursday mornings
Location: Red Hill.
These groups are currently full, but you can enrol now and place your name on a waiting list. We will then send you regular information about our activities.
Mother and Baby Programme
From term 2, Mother and Baby groups will be held on every second Friday at Pt Leo and Rye. Spaces are available in these groups.
